How often do you get to attend matches?
Used to be twice a year while living in Ireland but has been much less frequent for the past few years while I was living further afield.
Who is your favourite ever player?
From an FPL perspective Dempsey was gold but it’s got to be the man who got me onboard the Fulham train in the first place…Steve Finnan
What win in your lifetime means the most to you?
Europa League semi final v Hamburg. That was a special moment, you could just sense that a goal was coming. Massive achievement to reach the final for little old Fulham.
Which goal meant the most?
There have been so many huge goals throughout the years during the great escape and the European run. I’m going to have to go for one from recently, Cairney's goal slotted past the keeper in the play-off final. Having spent the last few seasons in the Championship and no parachute payments next year we may have lost our better players and the team could have been languishing in the Championship for some time had we not gone up this year. Massive goal on a massive occasion.
Which team would you most like to beat this season?
Has to be Chelsea
Are you happy with your manager?
Extremely happy! Hopefully tie him down to a long term contract and not have any more data analysts in conflict with him
Are you happy with your Board/Chairman?
Yes. The Chairman clearly knows how to get results having seen success with both teams he owns… Fulham and the Jacksonville Jaguars
Where do you realistically think your club will finish this season?
I think mid-table could be a realistic achievement however it would very much be dependent on how we recruit in the summer
What opposition player do you secretly admire?
Raheem Sterling. Made the move from Liverpool for a huge transfer fee. Since then he has massively improved his game and proved the critics wrong time and time again.
Is there a youngster at the club who could become a regular in the side this season?
I think Sessegnon was the youngster to have already firmly established himself in the first team. There are a number of other good youngsters at the club who have been involved with the first team last season such as Tayo Edun, Matt O’Riley and Steven Sessegnon. Whether they can make a breakthrough with the step up to the Premier League I don’t know but one thing is for sure if they are ready Slavisa Jokanovic will have them in the team.
Who do you think will be your club's top FPL points scorer this season?
As the squad is at the moment Sessegnon looks like he will be the clubs highest points scorer. If Mitrovic or another good striker signs I think they will be the more likely
Can you tell us about your FPL history?
I have been playing FPL for about 10 years now. It started off as a bit of a laugh with friends in our mini league. Over the years I became more and more competitive. I’ve had opportunities for a top 10k in the last 3 seasons but due to playing the triple captain wrong or a poor wildcard I have fallen short. Hopefully this season.
What would be a successful FPL finish for you this season?
The aim for the past few seasons has been top 10k and that’s still the aim.
What formation do you generally favour for FPL?
3-5-2 in the last few seasons has been my go to formation however I like to set my team as flexible as possible
What is the biggest lesson you have learned playing FPL?
Don’t captain a differential player in a game week where there is an obvious captain
When did you use your chips last season and was it successful?
Aside from the triple captain on Kane in Gw22 I kept my chips till the end of the season for the doubles. I had better success in the blanks than the doubles and ultimately didn’t gain as much of a jump up in ranks as I would have liked
Anything else we should know about you?
I started the Irish Fulham supporters club a number of years ago.
